Design
The new TLX comes in a variety of colors, including Modern Steel, Apex Blue, Performance Red, and Majestic Black. Jewel Eye®️ LED headlights not only look glamorous but provide maximum visibility by projecting wide beams which mimic natural light to reduce eye fatigue.
The interior is comfortable, spacious, and comes with two available ambient lighting settings in red or white. The plush seats are wrapped in the highest-grade Milano leather. Front passengers get to enjoy heated seats and available ventilation in some trim packages. The driver receives first-class treatment with the 2-driver automatic memory system which adjusts the driver seat, side mirrors, and steering wheel to your preferred presets.
Performance
For maximum performance, the available 3.5L iVTEC V6 engine with direct-fuel injection and Variable Cylinder Management™ produces 290 horsepower and 267 lb.-ft. of torque. Four available drive modes include Econ, Normal, Sport, and Sport+. Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD®️) ensures power is directed to whichever wheels need it most to help you handle challenging road conditions.
The 2020 TLX is also the first production vehicle to feature the Precision ALL-Wheel Steer™ (P-AWS™) system, which independently adjusts the rear wheel toe angles to give you unmatched control and precision steering when turning, braking, or merging.
